Midori, a leaker known for accurately predicting many pieces of information regarding Atlus and SEGA games, has released a new request that Nintendo is working on a project codenamed U-King-O – possibly a port of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s codename is U-King, which means it can be reasonably assumed that the project refers to a port for Nintendo’s next console. It’s also safe to say improvements will come to this port; Higher resolution and frame rates are almost guaranteed if this is the case.

That being said, it’s unclear whether this project is a completely different version of Breath of the Wild that needs to be repurchased or if Nintendo will offer the option of paying a smaller fee to upgrade the game and help you Save money you already own. While it could technically be a completely separate game, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity’s codename is Century, meaning that if this project comes to fruition it’s almost certainly a sequel. port Breath of the Wild.

It was previously stated that at Gamescom last August, Nintendo was shows off Breath of the Wild for its new consoles. Technical improvements – again, in frame rate and resolution – were the main highlights of that demo. However, at the time there was nothing to indicate that the game was planned for full release.

Although the leaked information has not been confirmed in any way, insiders credit Pyoro also appeared to be on board with Midori’s affirmation. The Switch 2’s codename is apparently Ounce, which explains the O added to the end of Breath of the Wild’s codename.
